‘Vitamin E’ by Rubber
On February 18th, 2021 Rubber released their most popular single to date, ‘Vitamin E’ ft. Sam Bekt; a stream of consciousness lyrical rollercoaster perfect for a late night stroll with a flask of something strong. After the release of the accompanying music video, two weeks later, Rubber captured their first viral moment on TikTok with a cut from the video. This traction on TikTok led to 1.2 million impressions on Instagram in the first month after the release which triggered the Spotify algorithm in a major way. Since then the song has amassed 900k streams across platforms, 50% coming in the last 6 months, and 30% in the last 3 months. Rubber has leveraged this success into verification on Instagram, international attention from press, and 40k monthly listeners on Spotify as they prepare for their move to Los Angeles.
